Scrapping Old...

2009 McInerney School Feis...

This is for a challenge, but it's helping me get my 2009 album done at the same time!

more snow, more photos, more pages

I took the opportunity to do a few more pages today... got some great photos of the boys in the snow.  Erin went out for 30 seconds, was annoyed, and went back in the house.
The boys carved out some cool forts... :)

snow day today, memories of 3 weeks of snow days...

So we got hit with another foot of snow last night.  It certainly looks beautiful, but it's kinda messy out there right now.  The kids are trying to sled, but the snow is so deep they're just sinking into it...  Was it this difficult when I was a kid?  Here's what the house looks like right now...
So today's challenge from My Memories Suite fan page on facebook was to use a particular font, KR Snowflake, on your page.  Since I just took these 5 minutes ago, I really had no other snow pictures, but still had not scrapped the 2008 ice storm photos or my ice storm memories.  So here it is below.

MMS Challenge

Due to the horribly cold temperatures, MMS Challenged us to think of warmer times...

I chose these photos of my friend's daughter that I took in Humarock in 2008... She's a real beauty...

Craftcrave

Wow, what can I tell you about CraftCrave?

Well, most importantly, it's ranked either #1 or #2 for digital scrapping websites.  I like it because they show everyday all the freebies that are available on the web.

Because of them I found Lindsay Jane Designs and Gotta Pixel, two websites I look at more often than I'd like to admit... and for as many freebies/purchases made, somehow my interpretations of the designs always look a wee bit different...

But check out this kit I bought today with a paypal credit lying dormant for some time... all this for $5.99 and I can use the pieces over and over!!!

Check it out at Gotta Pixel... and let me know if you'd like to learn how to use Polaroid's My Memories Suite, the easiest digital scrapbooking software on the planet.  No photoshop required!!!

Who knew how far a company would go to make ME happy?

Here is a page I had been working on for a while. I was having a bit of trouble getting it right. I uploaded to MMS's fan page, and within minutes, I had comments from a half dozed people as to improvements I could make.

When I couldn't do the pennant lettering the way I wanted, someone from MMS DID THE LETTERING FOR ME AND EMAILED IT TO ME!!!

What other company would do that???

This blog is back!

Funny how I stopped blogging the same time I found facebook... Must just be a coincidence...

Well, since I'm back, and spending so much time doing digital scrapbooking, I thought this would be a great way to show off what I've been doing (which really means showing off my kids)...

This page came together fast using MMS since it was a template of 9 squares... It would have taken all day the old fashioned way... measuring and cutting the photos, trying to mount them in the right spot...

Love MMS (My Memories Suite)!!!
